Creating a TranscriptPad Case File on iPhone

TranscriptPad is available on iPhone, allowing you to create and manage Case Files while on the go. Case Files created on iPhone can be opened later on iPad or Mac, and can be synced using iCloud Drive.

Before getting started, it may be helpful to review this article:

When you launch TranscriptPad on iPhone, you’ll see a file browser interface similar to Apple’s Files app.

By default, the app opens to the Recents home page, which shows Case Files you’ve recently opened. Tap Browse to navigate to a specific location.

Saving your Case File in iCloud will allow you to sync your Case File across your iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

Create a New Case File

  1. Open TranscriptPad on your iPhone.
  2. Tap Browse, and navigate to iCloud or On My iPhone, to choose the location where you wish to store your Case File.
  3. Tap the + button in the top-right corner or + Create New Case.
  4. Choose a template.
  5. Enter a Case File name.
  6. Tap Create New Case File.

If you create a Case File while viewing Recents, the file is saved to your default Document Storage location, which can be found in the Settings app on your iPhone under TranscriptPad.

Saving to iCloud Drive for Use on iPad or Mac

If you plan to access the same Case File on multiple devices—such as your iPad or Mac—make sure the Case File is saved to iCloud Drive.

Saving Case Files to iCloud Drive allows TranscriptPad to keep them in sync across devices signed in with the same Apple Account.
