      Using the LIT SUITE on Both iPad and Mac

      Access your LIT SUITE apps across devices using the same Apple Account.

      You can use your LIT SUITE subscription on both your iPad and your Mac as long as each device is signed in with the same Apple Account. This ensures your subscription is recognized on both platforms.

      Requirements

      To use the LIT SUITE on both devices, make sure you have:

      • An active LIT SUITE subscription.

      • The same Apple Account signed in on your iPad and Mac.

      • Each app (TrialPad, TranscriptPad, DocReviewPad, TimelinePad, ExhibitsPad) downloaded from the App Store on both devices.

      Using Your Subscription on iPad and Mac

      Your subscription is tied to your Apple Account. When you install the apps on a second device—whether it’s a new iPad or a Mac—you simply sign in with the same Apple Account to continue using your subscription. You aren’t transferring your subscription; you’re accessing it on multiple devices that belong to you.

      If your new device uses a different Apple Account, the subscription will not carry over. You’ll either need to sign in with the original Apple Account or start a new subscription.

      Checking the Apple Account on Each Device

      If you’re unsure whether both devices are using the same Apple Account, you can confirm this in the system settings on each device.

      How to Check Your Apple Account on iPad

      1. Open Settings.

      2. Tap your name at the top of the sidebar.

      3. Confirm the Apple Account listed.

      How to Check Your Apple Account on Mac

      1. Open the Apple Menu.

      2. Choose System Settings (or System Preferences, depending on your macOS version).

      3. Click your name at the top of the sidebar to view your Apple Account.

      If your new device uses a different Apple Account, the subscription will not carry over. You’ll either need to sign in with the original Apple Account or start a new subscription.

       

      Downloading the Apps

      Download the LIT SUITE apps individually or all together on each device:

      • On iPad: Open the App Store and search for any LIT SUITE app.

      • On Mac: Open the Mac App Store and do the same.

      Once installed, open any app and sign in with your Apple Account to activate your subscription.
