Mac Device Requirements
Use a compatible Mac and Apple Account for best performance and access to your existing subscription.
The LIT SUITE apps (TrialPad, TranscriptPad, DocReviewPad, and TimelinePad) are available for iPad and Mac. ExhibitsPad is only available for iPad as it is designed to be an electronic exhibit binder given to witnesses, mediators, arbitrators, or jurors.
Many of our users have purchased an iPad just to use our apps as it's easy to integrate an iPad into your workflows whether you use Windows or any other platform. For example, you can work on your Windows machine and store your evidence in OneDrive, then you can import that same evidence into the LIT SUITE apps by accessing the OneDrive app on the iPad.
The iPad is reliable, easy to use, and manage without any technical assistance, and is also the most popular tablet used by lawyers.
Mac Hardware Requirements
The latest and fastest Mac you can afford will provide the best performance and longest lifespan.
Our testing has been done primarily on MacBook Pro models, which perform exceptionally well with the LIT SUITE.
If you’re purchasing a new Mac, we recommend choosing an Apple Silicon model for the best results.

Mac Software Requirements
You will need to have a Mac running macOS Monterey (version 12) or later, and an Apple Account.
Using the Same Subscription on iPad and Mac
Your LIT SUITE subscription is linked to your Apple Account (formerly Apple ID). To use your subscription on Mac, the same Apple Account must be signed in on both your iPad and Mac.
