Store your Case Files in iCloud Drive for reliable syncing between iPad and Mac while preserving full file integrity.
Why Use iCloud Drive
iCloud Drive is the only supported cloud storage option for LIT SUITE apps. It preserves the Apple package format that Case Files rely on and ensures that all documents, annotations, and metadata remain intact. With iCloud Drive, you can:
-
Sync Case Files automatically between iPad and Mac.
-
Keep your files backed up in the cloud.
-
Open Case Files from either device signed in with the same Apple ID.
Benefits of iCloud Drive
-
Cross-device access: Start a Case File on iPad and continue on Mac, or vice versa.
-
Automatic app folders: iCloud Drive creates a folder for each LIT SUITE app (such as TrialPad or TranscriptPad) the first time you save a Case File there.
-
File integrity: Maintains the full Case File package without risk of corruption.
-
Offline use: You can download Case Files to your device for offline access. Large matters may take time to sync or download.
⚠️ Note: Both devices must be online for syncing. Large files may take time to upload/download.
⚠️ Important: Never edit the same Case File on two devices at once to avoid data loss.
How To Enable iCloud Drive
