Presenting Evidence

Present documents and evidence with confidence using TrialPad’s professional tools, including annotations, callouts, and split-screen comparisons.

Present evidence clearly and effectively with TrialPad’s powerful tools.

Starting Your Presentation

Connect your device to a display using a compatible HDMI or VGA adapter, or wirelessly using AirPlay-enabled or AirPlay-compatible devices.

How to Connect for Presentation (Wirelessly)

1. Connect your device to the same Wi-Fi network as your Apple TV, AirPlay-compatible smart TV, or Mac.

Note: If you are connecting to an AppleTV: iPad, Mac, and Apple TV devices have the ability to do peer-to-peer discovery and a Wi-Fi network is not needed. Devices connect using Bluetooth to find each other, then create a secure direct Wi-Fi link for the stream—perfect for guest networks or places with no Wi-Fi.

2. Open Control Center:

    • On iPad: Swipe down from the upper-right corner of the screen.

    • On Mac: Click the Control Center icon

  1. Tap the Screen Mirroring button.

  2. Select the device from the list.

  3. If an AirPlay passcode appears on your TV screen or Mac, enter the passcode on your iPad or Mac.

  4. When you open TrialPad, the external screen will go blank until you choose to present.

To stop mirroring your iPad or Mac, open Control Center, tap Screen Mirroring, then tap Stop Mirroring. Or press the Menu button on your Apple TV Remote.

How to Use Output Controls

  1. Slide the Output switch to On.

  2. Use Blank, Freeze, and Present to control the external display:
     • Blank clears the screen.
     • Freeze holds the current image while you prepare another.

  3. Collapse the Document List for a larger Preview Window.
