Importing Evidence Using Drag and Drop on Your Mac

Learn how to import documents, images, and media files into your Case File on a Mac using drag and drop.

How To Import Evidence Using Drag and Drop

  1. Open a Case File in a LIT SUITE app on your Mac.

  2. Navigate to the appropriate tab.

    • If using TrialPad:

        • Use the Documents tab for PDFs and image files.

        • Use the Multimedia tab for video or audio files.

    • If using TranscriptPad, there are no tabs.

    • If using DocReviewPad, use the Documents tab.

  3. Open Finder and locate the files you want to import.

  4. Select your files and drag them into the file list in the sidebar.
    A green plus symbol will appear to indicate the files can be imported.

  5. A confirmation will appear showing how many files were imported.

Be sure to import only compatible file types such as PDF, JPG, PNG, TIF, MP4, and M4A.
