In TrialPad, evidence is either considered a Document or Multimedia. You will import Documents to the Documents tab and Multimedia to the Multimedia tab. You can also include photos, maps, and create quick demonstratives on the fly with whiteboards.

Importing Locations
TrialPad supports importing documents from a variety of locations, including On My iPad, iCloud Drive, USB drives, and third-party cloud providers. For optimal reliability and offline access, it is recommended to store and manage your case files in the On My iPad location. For more information, please review: Changing the Storage to On My iPad
When you launch any LIT SUITE app, Apple’s Document Manager appears. The sidebar shows available storage locations. This location is where the case file will be stored. For more information, please review: Creating a New Case File on Your iPad or Creating a New Case File on Your Mac.
Importing Files
To import Documents into TrialPad:

There are 3 tabs on the bottom of the Evidence List. Navigate to the Documents tab.

Tap the + button in the lower-left corner.

Select Import Documents

Navigate to the storage location.

Select file or files and tap Open to confirm import.
To import Multimedia into TrialPad:

There are 3 tabs on the bottom of the Evidence List. Navigate to the Multimedia tab.

Tap the + button in the lower-left corner.

Select Import Multimedia.

Navigate to the storage location.

Select file or files and tap Open to confirm import.
Importing Folders

Tap the + button and choose Import Folder.

Select a folder from On My iPad, iCloud Drive, or a USB drive.
(Third-party cloud services do not support folder import.) -
To import a folder from a cloud provider, first compress it into a ZIP file using the Files app.

Use Import Documents to import the ZIP. The app will extract and restore the folder structure.
