Changing the Default Document Storage Location (iPad)

Understand how iPadOS saves new Case Files and how to control where they go by setting a default storage location.

When creating a new case, if you are in Recents and tap + New Case, the Case File will be created directly in your Document Storage location - at the top level, not inside a folder.  This is iPadOS behavior, not unique to LIT SUITE apps.

You can change what the default Document Storage location is so that you are always in control of your case files.

To keep Case Files organized, it’s best to open Browse first, navigate to the exact folder (for example iCloud Drive → TrialPad), and then create the new Case File.
