If you see a “Sync Alert – Accuracy” message while syncing a video deposition, try the following steps to resolve it.
When syncing a video deposition, you may see the following alert:
Sync Alert – Accuracy
Synchronization has paused because a quality check found inconsistencies between the video or audio transcription and the associated transcript. This can occur if incorrect video or audio files are linked to the transcript, or if the files are arranged in the wrong sequence.
If you tap Continue, the sync process will complete and there may be no issues.
If you tap Continue, and zero lines are synced, follow the steps below to resolve the issue:
1. Check the video file(s)
Make sure the correct video file is linked to the transcript.
-
Confirm that the file matches the deposition and that multiple files are in the correct order.
-
If needed, remove incorrect files and re-import the correct ones before attempting to sync again.
2. Reset the sync
You can reset the sync and try again:
-
Tap Link & Sync, then tap the red BETA label.
-
Tap Reset All.
-
Quit TranscriptPad, then reopen the app and try syncing again.
3. Restart Speech Recognition
If the sync alert continues, the Speech Recognition service may need to be restarted:
On iPad
Open Settings.
Tap Privacy & Security.
Tap Speech Recognition.
Turn OFF TranscriptPad.
- Wait about 10 seconds, then turn ON TranscriptPad.
On Mac
Open System Settings.
Click Privacy & Security in the sidebar.
Click Speech Recognition.
Turn on TranscriptPad.
- Wait about 10 seconds, then turn ON TranscriptPad.
Wait about 5 minutes to allow the system to make Speech Recognition available, then try syncing again.
