Use compatible file formats to ensure exhibits display correctly and consistently during trial presentations.
ExhibitsPad supports a variety of document, image, video, and audio formats commonly used in litigation. For best results, use PDF for all documents and photographs.
Document and Text Formats
✔️ ️Portable Document Format (.PDF) - The standard format for document production. Remove any password protection to be viewable.
✔️Text File (.TXT) - Used primarily for deposition and trial transcripts. Page formatting will be lost, but page and line numbering will still match the official transcript.
Image Formats
✔️ Tagged Image File Format (.TIF, .TIFF) - An older bitmap format still used for document production. ExhibitsPad supports both single-page and multi-page TIFF files.
✔️ Joint Photographic Experts Group (.JPG, .JPEG) - A standard bitmap image format used for photographs and other images.
✔️ Portable Network Graphics (.PNG) - A standard bitmap image format used for photographs and other images.
Video Formats
✔️ QuickTime (.MOV) and MPEG-4 (.MP4) - Common video formats.
If you experience issues playing a video, please review: Ensuring Video and Audio Compatibility.

✔️ Audio Interchange File Format (.AIF, .AIFF)
All standard audio formats used for playback.
