With just a couple of taps, you can copy designations from a deposition or trial transcript, then paste them anywhere they are needed, keeping the formatting intact and including the source page and line numbers. For example, you can paste a designation into a Word document you’re using to draft a motion, or a PowerPoint slide for a closing argument, or even share designations via email or a text message with an expert witness.
Just like highlighting or assigning an Issue Code to a designation, tap on the starting line number and ending line number of the text you want to copy.
Then tap on the Share button at the top of the popover.
In the resulting popover, tap on Copy to copy the formatted designation. In this step you could also add the designation to an email or text message.
Open the document or presentation you are working on, and Paste the designation.
