Exporting by Exhibit Number

Transfer exhibits using a USB drive for reliable offline setup across all iPad devices.

Exporting exhibits directly from TrialPad to a USB drive ensures each iPad running ExhibitsPad has an identical, offline copy of your files. This method avoids the need for Wi-Fi or cloud storage and simplifies setup before trial.

How to Export Exhibits from TrialPad

Prior to exporting, be sure to Assign Exhibit Stickers.

  1. Open your Case File in TrialPad.
  2. In the Documents tab, select the Exhibit # view.
  3. Tap or click Select.
  4. Tap or click Select All.
  5. Tap Edit in the toolbar and choose Export by Exhibit #.
  6. Choose your settings for naming the Exhibits.
  7. Tap or click Export.
  8. Choose your location to save.
  9. Repeat for Multimedia files.
  10. Organize your case files and save to USB drive..

The best way to export files from TrialPad to ExhibitsPad is to export the files directly to a USB drive. You can then connect the USB drive to another iPad and import those files into ExhibitsPad. Because you will want the files to be easily searchable in ExhibitsPad you may want the file names to include the exhibit numbers. This can be done using the Export by Exhibit # option in TrialPad.
