Archiving Case Files on Third-Party Cloud Storage

Store your Case Files safely by compressing them before uploading to Dropbox or other cloud storage services.

You can archive and store a Case File in a third-party cloud provider, but you must compress (zip) it first. When you move it back to your device, unzip it before opening.

Never open or work on a Case File stored in the cloud. Third-party cloud storage providers don’t support Apple’s package file format. Although a Case File looks like one file on Apple devices, it’s actually a folder containing many files.

If you move or store an unzipped Case File in an unsupported location, it may become corrupted and unreadable.
