Our advice has always been to purchase the latest and largest iPad Pro model, with the latest Apple Silicon processors. These devices will give you the most hardware longevity, with plenty of screen real estate.
Currently, the best iPad to use with our apps is the latest generation iPad Pro 13”. The large screen size and fast processor have definite advantages when working with a lot of documents and videos. For storage space, 256GB is ample for most situations, but if you plan on syncing a lot of video depositions, you may want to get 512GB or more as video files take up much more space than documents.
The latest generation iPad Air 13” is also a good solution as it has the same large screen size, but a less powerful processor.

If you choose an iPad that is compatible with the Magic Keyboard (https://www.apple.com/ipad-keyboards/) it is a highly recommended accessory with a built in trackpad. An Apple Pencil (https://www.apple.com/apple-pencil/) is not required as you don’t draw in our apps, but it does offer preciseness when doing any kind of annotations, such as highlights and callouts.
