Use the Multimedia tab in TrialPad to play, edit, and annotate video and audio files for presentation or evidence preparation.
View and play multimedia files
Use the Multimedia tab to manage video and audio files in your Case File.

Tap a video to display its first frame in the Preview Window.

Tap the Play button or anywhere on the video to begin playback.

Playback controls appear below the video and fade after 4 seconds—tap the video to bring them back.

Scrub back or forward as needed. Elapsed time and time remaining are shown during playback.
Audio files play in the same way. The Preview Window remains black, but the playback controls are visible.
Take a snapshot from a video

Tap the Snapshot button above the Preview Window.

The image is saved to the Documents tab.

The saved file includes the video name and timestamp.

Annotate snapshots like any photo using tools in the Documents tab.
Create a video clip

Tap Clip Multimedia (scissor icon).

Drag the In and Out points to set the clip’s start and end.

In and Out handles turn yellow when selected.

Pause while dragging for a zoomed view for precise editing.

Tap Use to create a new video clip.
The clip is saved in the Multimedia tab with “Clip” appended to the original file name.
