View and play multimedia files
Use the Multimedia tab to manage video and audio files in your Case File.

Tap a video to display its first frame in the Preview Window.

Tap the Play button or anywhere on the video to begin playback.

Playback controls appear below the video and fade after 4 seconds—tap the video to bring them back.

Scrub back or forward as needed. Elapsed time and time remaining are shown during playback.
Audio files play in the same way. The Preview Window remains black, but the playback controls are visible.
Take a Snapshot from a video
A snapshot captures a still frame from any paused video. It’s useful for emphasizing a specific moment, such as a gesture, expression, or document reference shown in the video.
How to Create a Snapshot from a Video
Open a video file and pause the video at the frame you want to capture.
Tap the Snapshot button above the Preview Window.
The image is saved to the Documents tab.
The saved file includes the video name and timestamp.
Annotate snapshots like any photo using tools in the Documents tab.
Editing Videos
Editing allows you to isolate key moments from a longer recording. This is useful when you want to show only relevant testimony or statements. The clip is saved in the Multimedia tab with “Clip” appended to the original file name.
How to Clip a Video
Tap Clip Multimedia (scissor icon).
Drag the Clip Start and Clip End points to set the clip’s start and end.
In and Out handles turn red when selected.
Pause while dragging for a zoomed view for precise editing.
- Manually enter the Clip Start and Clip End for specific clips.
Tap Trim to create a new video clip.
