Jurors or fact finders can capture and mark up specific pages or video frames for focused review.
Taking and Annotating Snapshots
- Select evidence, then tap Snapshots in the Evidence Viewer.
- Tap Take Snapshot.
- Name Snapshot to make it searchable and remind yourself why it was captured.
- Tap Save Snapshot.
- Begin Annotating with the Markup Tools - all changes are automatically saved.
- When finished, tap Back to Evidence.
Viewing a Snapshot
On the Evidence List, either:
- Scroll to find the Snapshot
- Search the Snapshot name
- Filter to just view Snapshots and select it
From the Evidence Viewer: Tap Snapshots, and select the Snapshot from the list.
When you open a Snapshot, Markup Tools activate automatically for further annotation.
To view without the tools active, tap Annotations, then select Stop Annotations.
To return to the original evidence, tap Open Original.
Editing a Snapshot
Use Markup Tools to add or erase annotations.
To remove all annotations, tap Annotations, then select Remove Annotations.
Rename a Snapshot
From the Evidence List, either:
- Touch and hold the Snapshot, then select Rename, or
- Swipe left, tap Options, select Rename.
From the Snapshot Viewer: Tap Rename.
Then, delete the current name, and enter a new name. Tap Rename to save the new name.
Deleting a Snapshot
From the Evidence List, either:
- Touch and hold on the Snapshot and select Delete Snapshot.
- Swipe left on the Snapshot, tap Options, select Delete Snapshot.
From the Evidence Viewer: Tap Snapshots, and select Delete (trashcan).
From the Snapshot Viewer: Tap Delete.
