My credit card was declined, can you run the charge again?

Apple manages all App Store billing. For privacy and security, only Apple and your credit card company have access to your payment details.

How to Resolve a Declined Charge

  1. A fraud protection hold may be placed by your credit card company when trying to make a purchase.

  2. If the charge is declined, Apple will often attempt to process it again automatically.

  3. If the charge continues to be declined, contact your credit card company to authorize the purchase or update your payment method with Apple.
