You can check your subscription status, if you have an active subscription, and the start and renewal date, by viewing your Account Information.

In the Case Selection screen tap on the Person icon in the top right which displays your Account Information. |
Click on the [AppName] menu, then click on Account to display your Account Information. |

The resulting popover will display your Subscription Start date and your Renewal Date. |

If you tap on the Manage Subscription button it will take you to the Subscriptions page for your Apple ID which will list all your Active and Expired subscriptions.
