Activating ExhibitsPad
Use your LIT SUITE license or QR code to activate ExhibitsPad for use during trial or deliberation.
ExhibitsPad can be used on any iPad during trial or deliberations. How you activate it depends on whether the iPad already has a LIT SUITE subscription.
There are two ways to activate ExhibitsPad:
- If the iPad already has an active subscription to a LIT SUITE app, ExhibitsPad activates automatically.
- If the device isn’t associated with a LIT SUITE license, it must be activated using a QR code generated from another LIT SUITE app on a licensed device.
Automatic Activation
If the iPad already has an active subscription to a LIT SUITE app, ExhibitsPad will activate automatically.
Supported apps include:
- TrialPad
- TranscriptPad
- DocReviewPad
- TimelinePad
How to Activate Automatically

Open ExhibitsPad, and the app will unlock. No additional setup is required.

Reactivate ExhibitsPad each time your LIT SUITE license renews.
Activate ExhibitsPad Using a QR Code
If the iPad does not have a LIT SUITE subscription, you can activate ExhibitsPad using a QR code generated from another iPad that does.
What You Need:

One iPad with an active LIT SUITE subscription
- The iPad where ExhibitsPad will be used
How to Activate ExhibitsPad using QR code
Use a QR code from another device with an active LIT SUITE subscription to activate ExhibitsPad.

On the iPad you want to use, open ExhibitsPad.

Tap ExhibitsPad Activation.

If prompted, tap Allow to enable the camera.

On another iPad, open TrialPad, TranscriptPad, DocReviewPad, or TimelinePad.

Tap Account.

Tap Activate ExhibitsPad to display the QR code.

Use the camera on the first iPad to scan the QR code.
ExhibitsPad activates automatically after the QR code is scanned.
How Often Activation Is Required
Activation is typically required only once during your LIT SUITE subscription.
You may need to activate again if:

The app is deleted and reinstalled

The device is reset
Using ExhibitsPad on Multiple iPads
ExhibitsPad can be installed on multiple iPads for use by jurors, alternates, and court staff during deliberations.
