When trying to start a sync on a Mac, if you receive a message that Speech Recognition is not enabled, please follow these steps:
- Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Speech Recognition and make sure that the TranscriptPad switch is set to On.
- Go to Settings > Keyboard > Dictation and make sure the switch is set to On.
- Go to Settings > Siri & Spotlight > Ask Siri and make sure the switch is set to On.
- Restart the Mac.
If the sync still does not work you can reset the sync engine by clicking on the Link and Sync button, then click on the red BETA word button in the top to reveal the Sync Diagnostics, and click on the Reset All button.
