The LIT SUITE apps allow you to make a template of a Case File to use in other matters with similar facts. You might do this if you’re a plaintiff lawyer and have a number of similar cases against one defendant, or a defense lawyer with a practice defending an insurance company from similar claims.
A TranscriptPad Case File template will include the file and folder structure from the source Case File, as well as any TXT transcripts, and Issue Codes that were assigned.
For a full explanation on how to create Case File Templates, please see the tutorial video: LIT SUITE Create Case File Template https://support.litsoftware.com/hc/en-us/articles/1500002091822-VIDEO-LIT-SUITE-Create-Case-File-Templates
Downloaded the attached one page TXT file into a new empty TranscriptPad Case File and follow the instructions in the file to create placeholder Issue Codes. You can use this TXT file to set up Issue Codes in advance of importing transcripts, or use the Case File as a template as described in the tutorial video.
