At this time the only way to see the synced transcript while playing the video in TrialPad is to burn the transcript into the video. This is not the best solution if some further editing has to be done but it does work. Burning the transcript into the video would be done by the videographer or court reporting firm, and would make the closed captioning part of the video file as opposed to dynamically displaying the video and closed captioning at the same time. We are working on a very exciting new feature to be able to edit and play back video depositions in TranscriptPad, and you could then export clips to TrialPad for playback at mediation or trial.
